The lights are awesome and the dancing
and texting is great. We also have Face Book or Internet games available
on several computers. You also get to call for your favorite song.
If we don't have it and can't buy it, you are welcome to supply it with your own
Ipod or MP3 player. We can sync just about any device. We also can
play your CD, but we don't play cassettes or records. If notified early we
do have several turntables and cassette decks. The next dance is Friday,
Feb. 13th at 9 PM in the Dungeon.
Game of the week will begin at 10:30. Texting is always allowed as there will be no
written tests after the dance. We appreciate our regulars. Remember we
have 3 computers that are on on the web for your use during the dance.
There are extra computers that can also be used if necessary. Facebook, twitter, youtube, games and etc.
are available to you at no extra charge. We also have
several of the online games that you can play if you have an account.
Remember 2 of the computers are gaming computers.

Mr. Faith only
approves of the safe use of lasers. If you have a laser above 5 milliwatts
and you plan on using it in public, you must apply for a Variance from the CDRH
before you use that laser as a projector. Do not point your laser pointer
at someone's eyes, aircraft, or vehicles. All lasers must be kept at 3
meters from the public inside of a room and must be cleared with the FAA if

What is Faith and the Believers II? It is a
band comprised of 8 musicians that love to play. The band plays older
music and new music that has a lot of vocal harmonies and brass, fiddle, and sax
parts along with the standard compliment which is piano, bass, guitar and drums.

Backus Auditorium is located in International Falls, if you don't know and would

Doug Baron in Barwick. If you can find Backus and can follow written
directions from here, do the following: Once you are in front of Backus Auditorium go to
the West side of the building, make a right and walk north about 80 feet.
You'll now be between Backus and AB, make another right and walk about 15 feet.
Turn right and walk into the black door with The Dungeon lettering printed on
it. Proceed down the stairway into the Little Theatre.

pictures of a sailboat that Mr. Faith saw being built by one person.
All of the wood was handcrafted by the builder and he built the 65 foot boat
in his barn. The boat shed is located in Rice, MN, which is on Hiway 10
just north of St. Cloud, MN.

"The Dungeon is available for private parties
If you have a band or a special act that you want
to present in the Dungeon, please call Mr. Faith at 286-3281.
At this time, I wish to thank the kids that have been
presenting special singing acts. Remember that if you want to do
something, you have to keep practicing and perform in front of a live audience.
One needs as much experience as you can get and the Dungeon has the equipment
available and an audience of your peers.
Mr. Faith has about 1000 Karaoke titles or you can bring your own.
If you need to practice, call 286-3281 and Mr. Faith will set up a practice time
before the dance especially for you. You will be able to read the Lyrics
from a special screen.

286-3281 Six of the lasers are programmable, but each one has a different
capability. Beam shows are the simple to make.

Directions to the Dungeon
It is located in International Falls, MN at 900 5th Street in
the Backus/AB complex. Since The Dungeon is part of the Backus/AB complex,
the exact location from the front of Backus or rather the south side of the
buildings would be: the west side between the two conjoined buildings, the first
side door to the right. There is a ten foot Yellow sign that is right next
to the black Dungeon door. The Dungeon
is listed on the sign and on the door.
Out of town people that need directions in International Falls
should use one of the following sets of directions:
1. If you are coming from the west, keep on
Hwy 11 & 71 East until you see the Backus/AB complex and the billboard sign for
the Backus Performing Arts Center, turn south for a partial block and go around
to the front of Backus. Then follow the above directions to find the exact
entrance.
2. If you are coming from the south
on Hwy 53North, turn on Hwy 11 & 71 West and go west for 5 blocks until you see the
sign and buildings mentioned in number 1. Then follow the above directions
to find the exact entrance.
3. If you are coming from Canada on
Hwy 53 South, go until you stop for the stop sign next to the Chamber of
Commerce's big lit up sign. Turn West and go
until you see the
sign and buildings mentioned in number 1. Then follow the directions
above number 1 to find the exact entrance.

Time for the dance is 9PM
until 12AM. Chaperones will be present. Top Tunes, lights, lasers,
and a snack bar. Admission $7
The video wall is
up and running. The wall has 11 stations to play 50 games and the large
screen TVs have PS 2 and game cube (these have been replaced by videos, but one
can ask to bring the units back). The Dungeon has 3 large screens
operating. Also one can play Asteroids with a laser. There are 9
lasers up and running, many different types of moving and stationary lights that
are preprogrammed and also run manually. The Dungeon has 2 Fire
escapes, both are marked with lighted Exit signs and lighted Exit signs to the
outside of the Backus building. There are also many battery operated white
lights. Both the white lights and exit signs are individually checked
monthly. The white lights will light the Dungeon and both fire escape
paths if needed. If needed you are to follow the flashing Exit signs for a
safe Exit to the outside.
Rules for the
Dungeon
1.
There will be no smoking, consumption of alcohol, use of drugs, or fighting on
the Backus/AB premises.
2. If one
wants to go outside, there will be no using of gutter language and we have to
talk quietly as the neighbors have to sleep .
3. If you see or have a problem, you are not to call 911 on your
cell phone, but you are asked to bring your problem to Mr. Faith or a chaperone and
they and Mr. Faith will decide if the Law Enforcement Center needs to be called.
